PFB-2500 Filtration Unit

The PFB-2500 filtration unit is a versatile portable ventilation system with blower rated at 2750 CFM @ 1″ sp. wg. High flow capacity and the four 8″ inlet adapters allow multiple tasks to be performed from a central location. The 1-wide by 2-high bag-in/bag-out filter housing comes standard with dual prefilters (P/N AK64) and dual 1000 CFM HEPA filters (P/N AK07). HEPA filter life can be extended by using the optional 2000 CFM high-flow HEPA. Stainless steel construction, high airflow, and long-term filter life make this BI/BO unit an excellent choice for handling long-term tasks in highly contaminated areas.

This unit has been evaluated to the applicable CSA standards for use in the United States under product Class 3812-81 (Fans and Blowers) and Canada under product Class 3812-01 (Fans and Blowers).

A 7.5 HP, 3525 RPM, totally enclosed fan cooled motor. Direct drive mounted to a back-curved, non-overloading aluminum blower. Hand guard and 8″ flex duct adapter.
Blower rated at 2650 CFM @ 1″ static pressure water gage (sp.wg) and 1900 CFM @ 7″ sp.wg.
Manual starter switch with thermal overload, push-button on-off and NEMA 4X enclosure.
Two metal framed single gasket HEPA filters with wire face guards, 24″ x 24″ x 11.5″ rated @ 1000 CFM @ 1.0″ wg., 99.97% efficient for 0.3 micron particles. Aerosol tested at 100% and 20% of rated flow. Integral stainless steel inlet, outlet and filter housing.
Four inlet connections in vertical orientation with adjustable flow dampers and a roll bead for 8″ flex duct.

Filter Bags

Replacement bags are non-sticking and constructed of 8-mil thick polyvinyl chloride with a yellow translucent matte finish. A ¼-inch diameter elastic shock cord is hemmed into the opening of the bag so that when stretched around the bagging flange, the bag fits securely. The bag contains (3) glove ports to facilitate easier handling of filtration during change and provides a convenient used-bag removal receptacle. Containment bags are suitable for continuous operating temperatures to 150° F (66° C).
