OVERVIEW
The AEC Post Degown Hygienic (Sanitary) Shower Booth is designed for operation in a cGMP environment to provide privacy and to wash the unclothed operator with a steady flow of warm water, removing any potential residual contaminants before the operator exits. The booth delivers a clean, pre-engineered, pre-fabricated, pre-wired, and pre-plumbed solution that can be installed in a few hours with knockdown stainless steel construction. This is typically a preferred alternative to stick built construction, eliminating the need for epoxy paint, tiles, separate controls and sloping floor. The AEC Shower Booth includes two doors. The waste water is collected in the sump of the shower and either pumped to a drain or directed to a process floor drain.
OVERVIEW
The AEC Misting Booth supplies a fine, low volume misting “fog” intended to affix loose powder on the surface of the occupant’s protective clothing (PPE). This helps prevent any hazardous particulate from becoming airborne when degowning. The single person misting booth serves as a one-way passage from the potentially contaminated processing area to the degowning area. An operator opens the door and steps into the misting booth, activating the user determined timed misting cycle. The water generated is collected in the sump of the shower and pumped to a drain, or directed to a process floor drain.
AEC is the market leader in Modular Engineered Misting Booth sales with over 60 installations in dozens of facilities around the world. Surrogate testing has shown that the AEC Misting Booth is capable of providing over two orders of magnitude protection to airborne dust when a misting cycle is used before degowning, versus a dry degown.
AEC custom built extraction hoods and plenums provide control of airborne particulates at their source, greatly reducing exposure risks and the potential spread of product. The use of extraction hoods will increase personnel protection, decrease the likelihood of cross contamination and reduce work area cleanup.
AEC’s capability has been used to customize local extraction hoods for powder generating operations in both laboratory and production areas. Using back draft, downdraft and laminar air flows, airborne powders are captured and contained within the hood and ventilation system.
AEC provides hoods that integrate with existing equipment, such as benches, sinks, sampling stations, scales and drums/carboys for weighing, dispensing and material transfer. Our extraction hoods can be integrated with portable HEPA/ULPA ventilation units for applications where the plant ventilation system is not adequate to provide sufficient capture velocities. This avoids costly system upgrades and re-validation efforts.
The SP-125VS variable speed HEPA filtration unit is a small, easily transportable tool for contamination control. Suitable for use in confined spaces, it is perfect for spot ventilation, welding, torus work, glove bag and gloved enclosure air cleaning. The optional carbon prefilter is useful for fume or vapor control where those elements are necessary. The stainless steel cylindrical design facilitates cleaning and increases the durability of the unit.
The MAC-21 is a modular ventilation unit capable of providing High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filtration with 99.97% efficiency @ 0.3 microns.
The MAC-21 is an assembly of three modules:
1) Power Module- a direct drive blower/motor and base assembly;
2) Filter Module- prefilter & HEPA filter housing assembly;
3) Quick-Mount Cart- handling cart and mounting platform for the power module and filter module.
This unit has been evaluated to the applicable CSA standards for use in the United States under product Class 3812-81 (Fans and Blowers) and Canada under product Class 3812-01 (Fans and Blowers).
The model MAC-21D (P/N FM41) is an adaptation of our model MAC-21 (P/N FM37) 500 CFM HEPA unit. This unit gives up some of the “modular features” in favor of a design assembled from explosion-proof components. The MAC-21D features an explosion proof motor and starter with a spark proof blower design (Class I Zone 2, AEx d nA IIA T3C [US] / Ex d nA IIA T3C [Canada]). Unlike the standard MAC-21, the blower/motor is not removable from the unit cart, and the flex hose inlet is not reconfigurable.
This unit has been evaluated to the applicable CSA standards for use in the United States under product Class 3812-81 (Fans and Blowers) and Canada under product Class 3812-01 (Fans and Blowers).
The MAC-21VFD is a modular ventilation unit capable of providing High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filtration with 99.97% efficiency @ 0.3 microns.
The MAC-21VFD is an assembly of three modules:
1) Power Module– a direct drive blower/motor and base assembly;
2) Filter Module- prefilter & HEPA filter housing assembly;
3) Quick-mount handling cart and mounting platform for the power module and filter module.

The SP-505A HEPA filtration unit has the highest flow rate and static pressure rating available for a unit of its size and weight. It out-performs anything in its category and sets the standard for high quality air cleaning equipment in a small, highly-portable package. The hand truck configuration allows operation in either a horizontal or vertical position and facilitates transportation of the unit close to the work site, thereby eliminating the necessity for excessive lengths of flexible duct.

The SP-505VFD HEPA filtration unit has the highest flow rate and static pressure rating available for a unit of its size and weight. With the variable speed model, the user may control the blower speed from 20% to 100% of the base speed. OVERVIEW
The AEC Portable Airlock module is designed to be adaptable for easy integration with existing room openings. When mated, the rooms are fixed in place. With an integrated air handling system that operates in negative or positive pressure modes, the booth then serves to maintain air pressurization differentials and directional air flow between adjacent areas. When the airlock module is not required, it is wheeled away on self-leveling casters. Room lighting, door(s) and self-leveling casters are provided as standard for each unit.
