Bag-in/Bag-out
RPS produces a line of Bag-in/Bag-out Portable HEPA Filtration Units. These are contact-free, self-contained systems used for the removal of hazardous airborne contaminants. These units minimize personnel exposure to harmful contaminants during filter change-outs. After clean filters and filter change-out bags are first installed, all subsequent filter change-outs (clean and dirty) are handled through the change-out bags.
The CSA mark (certification) means a product has been tested and meets applicable standards for safety and/or performance, including the applicable standards written or administered by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Canadian Standards Association (CSA), NSF International (NSF), and others.
CSA International is accredited by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and the Standards Council of Canada (SCC). CSA is fully qualified to test electrical, electronic, mechanical, plumbing, Energy Star, HVAC, and lighting equipment, along with a wide range of other products sold throughout North America, Europe and Asia.

The resulting calculation will specify the size of the vent unit required to produce the desired number of air changes.
Most models are available with variable frequency drives.
Aerosol Challenge (“DOP”) Testing
- RPS can perform aerosol challenge “DOP” testing of portable HEPA ventilation systems to assess filter and filter seal integrity prior to shipping the HEPA filtration unit. Challenge testing is performed according to ANSI/ASME guidelines using PAO (Polyalphaolefin – Emery 3004) as the challenge aerosol.
- RPS can also provide a qualified technical specialist to perform this service on-site, as well as providing the aerosol generator, photometer, and test media necessary to perform the required measurements. At the conclusion of the testing, RPS will generate a report to document our findings and make repairs or recommendations.
